Rockgooey is a label started in 2022 by 3 friends as an art collective that collaborates with artists to produce 1/1 handpainted pieces. The idea later turned into a brand that provides a platform to artists around the world and produces Ready to Wear lifestyle pieces. The brand stands for inclusivity in art and plays around (not limiting to) abstract expressionist themes.
Rockgooey was rooted in contrast, in boundaries, in emotion. The word Rockgooey is a play in juxtaposition. Feel a rock and feel something gooey; it stands for love, it stands for penetration, how something soft penetrates hardest of structures and how hard things burst when slammed. Through art the brand has observed themes around relationships, sensuality, tears, and fundamentality of existence.
